  • Where Dreams Grow

    July 18, 2009 — With 236 words & Read — Labelled as: Story
It was a foggy dark night and i was trying to find a place to sleep.
I approached a house with a small piece of land next to it.
The door of the house opened and a man dressed like a farmer wearing a straw hat stepped outside.
We greeted and he had some farming tools with him and a lantern.
He walked to the piece of land next to the house and i followed him there.
The land was filled with bright white flowers fog covering the soil.
I asked him what he was going to do in the middle of the night.
He was putting on gloves when he told me he was going to farm dreams.
The man started to plow his piece of land.
Wind began to blow hard as the flower petals got lifted up into the sky and were taken into every direction.
The whole farm was empty in a matter of seconds.
The farmer took out a hankerchief and used it to remove the sweat drops on his forehead.
He told me i could sleep in the barn, as he walked back to his house.
That night I slept better than i ever did.

When i got up to continue my journey, the small patch of land next to the house was covered with flowers in many colors.
As i walked along the road going ahead with my journey the wind blew their scents past me, it reminded me of many things i liked.
