Her teacher was stupefied and stared at her in disbelieve, “How did you know that?”
“I googled it.”, She simply replied.
He just kept on staring at her, and she wasn’t sure if he didn’t know what googled meant or if there was something wrong with her answer.
She got nervous and started talking, “You don’t believe me? Where else would anyone get information nowadays? Some secret library? That’s what I did, I walked into a normal looking bookstore in a normal looking street in between a normal barber shop and a normal cafe, walked over to the man behind the counter and told him a secret sentence.”
Her teacher kept on staring so she kept on talking.
“Kids with hummingbird eyes! Now it’s not a secret anymore.”, She said somewhat saddened for ruining the secret sentence.
The entire class room laughed and she felt encouraged to continue, “The man stepped out from behind the counter and silently walked over to the far end of the bookstore and pulled on a specific book, George’s Secret Key to the Universe by Stephen Hawkins. The bookcase next to it rotated and revealed a hidden passage, I followed him inside and he showed me the hidden library of dark and occult books the world hasn’t seen in decades.”
The teacher was still staring at her with a blank look on his face, the smell of burned plastic filled the room, smoke started to come out of all the teacher’s bodily openings.
“Critical error! Critical error!”
Sparks started flying of him and he started twitching and collapsed soon after and caught on fire.
The sprinklers went on and her physics class was finally over.
