  • Story About A Scar

    August 19, 2009 — With 325 words & Read — Labelled as: Story
“Mister, how did you get that scar?” One of the local boys asked Bernt.
    Bernt burns loose
“This scar? Well, I once went to the tropics to help out a tribe that lived there deep in the forest as a auto mechanic.
Boy did they love their cars..”

“On a hot tropical night sleeping in my tent I got stung by an unknown insect.
I got infected with an even more unknown virus,
But I didn’t really notice anything for the first two weeks or so.
I did have this tingling sensation for two more weeks in my arm near my elbow.
On a day I felt like I had a new cut I only just noticed.
So I had a look at it in the bathroom looking in the mirror to see what was wrong.
I stared at the spot where I got bitten for a long time.
Suddenly the wound opened, like a hatch door in a SciFi movie it slided up and a pointy object started to come out.
Turned out it was a rocket, it came out in its full and turned upright.
Two tiny men that clearly looked like scientists, including pen holders and holding clipboards came out of the hatch.
After them three tiny astronauts came out and climbed into the rocket.
I looked inside the open hatch and saw lights flashing inside, one of the scientists pressed the red button next to the rocket and they both went back inside.
A voice coming from speakers started to count down to 0.
The rocket blasted off into the air, to space or some other place.
Fire from the engines burned my skin a bit and now the scar looks just like a explanation mark!”

The local kids staring at his scar have opened mouths and dry tongues.
Bernt hands them their icecream and takes their money.
“Don’t get me started on the scar on my back.” He tells them.

He gets back into the driver seat and drives away, driving away with a happy but annoying jingle playing all the way.
