The sun was burning very hot to say the least.
No clouds to be found in the clear blue sky.
It’s told around these places they left hundreds of years ago.

I was on a journey to somewhere.
I can’t even remember where, it’s been so long.
Lost in this godforsaken desert, surrounded by nothing but sand with it’s
occasional lizard or vulture staring at me telling me i don’t belong here.
I don’t even remember when i ran out of water.

I can’t hold out much longer in this heat my journey will soon come to an end.
If i could just get to a village, or find a oasis or even an caravan would do.

As night falls in a matter of seconds, the sun crashes down onto the desert floor creating a shock wave of light and dust that started heading straight towards him.
It knocks him down, face down in the sand..

    The school bell rings.
Jamie’s play of extreme drama ends.

Teachers start to herd all the kids back into the air conditioned classrooms.
