    I pull up to her drive way.
    It was unpaved, with a big rock protruding in the center of the in the sea of pebbles.
    She opened her front door and carefully peeked outside, she saw me with my back turned towards her, just staring at the big grey rock.
    She almost whispered hello, and I turned around and said the same.
    We got into my car, I turned the ignition, drove onto the highway, small talk at red streetlights, parked the car, got into the restaurant.
    Interior looked nice, food was bad, dinner was fine, picked a wine that I picked randomly by pointing on the wine menu.
    My filet mignon tasted horrible.
    She loved her red lobster.
    Dessert was nasty but she ate her’s and mine.
    Check, tip, drove her back home.
    Her neck as she was looking out of the window.
    Walk her to her door and waited for her to invite me in.
    It’s morning.
    I was still waiting on he doorstep, and she just stepped out to head for work.
    Watch a bluebird building a nest in the rain gutter.
    Police arrive.
    They throw me in jail for stalking.
    Stare at the dirty floor, there’s a sound, I look up and see you.
    You said hi.
    I whispered the same back.
    You wanted to me to experience the benefits of prison.
    I refused.
    Never on the first date I said.
