Chapter 1: ‘The waiting.’
Every time Jacob Michael Daniel’s phone rang he picked it up quicker than the speed of light and sound combined.
Hoping it was the call he had been waiting for all this time.
He had signed up for a TV experiment that could make him filthy rich, but the call came from someone completely different.
“Good evening, this is Sheriff Ragan am i talking to Jacob Michael Daniel Coleman?
The son of Emily Jose Marie Penelope Coleman?”
This was the first time a law enforcer mentioned his name and that of his mother in a different order.
The sheriff starts to explain “You have to come to the intersection at…”
There was no need for the sheriff to finish telling him which intersection it was Jacob Michael Daniel already knew which one.
“…there has been an accident…” The sheriff continues on the phone.
With a mouth filled with more words than teeth.
Jacob Michael Daniel replied with a simple “Ok.”
Chapter 2: ‘(Near) The End.’
In a rush he drove his pickup to the most notorious intersection in the area.
Only a mere 2 minutes from his house when you would drive not more than the speed limit.
On the way there he thought about all the times he and his friends were street racing with tractors at that intersection.
Coming closer to the place of the accident,
He see’s a gigantic truck that has crashed into a big sign next to the road.
The Sheriff noticed Jacob Michael Daniel and came to explain what happened.
“Your mother was trying to read the small prints of the advertisement on the sign about hearing aids.”
Jacob Michael Daniel looked at the back of the truck to see his mother that has been ran over but is still breathing.
“The driver didn’t pay attention because he dropped a m&m onto the floor and it was one in a chain of picking out 25 red colored one’s from the bag without looking.”
Jacob Michael Daniel now turned to find where the driver was, the driver of the truck was leaning against the sign recounting his mm&s.
“She wants to talk to you, but be fast she doesn’t have much time left.”
He walked up to talk to his mother, she tried explaining what happened but he already knew.
Chapter 3: ‘The Grand Finale.’
Another cop car arrives with 4 more policemen stuffed inside, all carrying small boxes.
Those boxes were filled with donuts, they called their friend that was on guard at the front of the truck.
As they eat a late night snack, its as if gravity also took a break and the truck started to roll forward.
The cop that was on guard couldn’t respond quick enough to stop the truck from rolling over Jacob Michael Daniel mother’s head at a very slow speed,
because he had to wipe his hands because of all the sugar stuck to his fingers.
Jacob Michael Daniel ran to his mother’s side, trying to push away the truck.
While the tire started to press and crush her skull against the ground she spoke her final words.
“God made Women out of a piece of His own Heart, Thats why all Men suffer from Love.”
He didn’t get what she meant with that, but he did get some blood on his boots.
All the cops tried pushing the truck back but nothing seemed able to stop it from moving.
Only until the cop that was originally on guard, was done washing his hands.
He pulled the hand brake of the truck and it came to a stop, the tire resting on what once was the head of Emily Jose Marie Penelope Coleman.
Chapter 4: ‘The Untitled Chapter.’
After the tragedy that occurred, the whole family came to attend the funeral.
There was beer and pig stew with tears and mud.
Her wish was to be cremated, Jacob Michael Daniel put her remains in her most priced possession.
Now her remains were in a trophy she once wont for being the fastest talker in the country.
Jacob Michael Daniel sits on his beanbag, and waits for the phone to ring again.
